The company has dedicated more than 60 years to marble, a timeless materia” which for centuries has profoundly characterised architectureand the history of art, and it is this ‘secular tradition that defines the company and the way itoperates. What began as an adventure has been transformed, 60 years later, in an entrepreneurialreality among the most important ones in the Italian stone industry, and it is the most important in the Tuscany Region. Cooperativa Apuana works one of the oldest quarries in Tuscany and is a pointof reference for the entire sector.

Cooperativa Apuana produces and promotes eight types of Apuan Marble extracted from four largedeposits owned by them, including Calacatta Vagli® in all its variations, prized marble used byarchitectural studios all over the world to create prestigious works. This means the company ishighly rated in terms of exclusivity not only for the unique qualities of the stone they extract, butalso and not least, in exercising the significant and considerable prerogative of being able toguarantee project designers a steady, uniform supply of material, even when it comes to large-scalearchitectural projects.
